BTC-E: How to add and withdraw Bitcoin

I’ve had several people ask me over the past few days how to either add or withdraw funds on BTC-E.com. BTC-E doesn’t have an overly complex UI, so adding and withdrawing is pretty quick. As of Mid December 2013 here’s how to do it:

Adding Bitcoin:

Login to your account and go to finances in the top right corner:finances.png

Like you might expect, you click on “deposit” to add funds:

From here, getting Bitcoin in is super easy. Just send it to the address in the blue box. It will take around an hour, so don’t get freaked out if you don’t see it after 10 minutes. Note that all you need to send it to this address is the address in the blue box. No email address, phone number, etc..

Withdrawing Bitcoin:

Withdrawing is also straightforward. Click on withdraw this time:Screen Shot 2013-12-09 at 12.39.30 AM.png

Now at the bottom of your screen you’ll see this box:

Simply just put the Bitcoin address you’d like to transfer to and the amount. “You will receive” is the amount that will send to that address after BTC-E takes their .01 BTC fee. Once you click “Withdrawal” they will send you an email to the address on your account. Make sure to click the confirmation link in the email to authorize the transfer of funds. Once authorized, it should take about an hour and the funds will appear in the address you sent them to![Screen Shot 2013-12-09 at 12.42.13 AM.png](https://svbtleusercontent.com/1gen3p00gjifta_small.png)
